Featuring over thirty of Ireland’s most exciting writers in a festival of literary talent, the Irish Writers’ Weekend at the British Library is back.
With a wide range of Ireland’s most accomplished, popular and creative authors, poets, comedians, and musicians including Kevin Barry, Lucy Caldwell Sinéad Gleeson, Rónán Hession, Chloe Michelle Howarth, Caolinn Hughes, Neil Jordan, Louise Kennedy, Claire Kilroy, Cauvery Madhavan, Lisa McInerney, Una Mannion, Mike McCormack, Paul Muldoon, Graham Norton, Loah, Dara Ó Briain, Séamas O’Reilly, Fintan O’Toole, Donal Ryan, members of Horslips and many more.

Weekend Passes give access to Saturday and Sunday daytime sessions. Single day passes are also available, and tickets to watch most sessions online either live or for 7 days on catch up.
Headline events take place each evening, for which separate tickets are required to attend in person. Friday 22 November features Graham Norton, Louise Kennedy and Paul Muldoon. On Saturday 23 November Muldoon’s Picnic is a cabaret of words and music making its London debut, and the Weekend closes on Sunday evening with Country Girl: A Tribute to Edna O’Brien.
